Mounting Engine 12/04/01

Tonight, Curtis and Ray put the major engine parts together, and mounted it on the fuselage. This is the first step towards defining the shape of the fuselage skin. Now we have to make the firewall, place all the other components, pour foam around it all, carve it to shape, and fiberglass and carbon-fiber over it. - Curtis & Ray

It's on!

The tail is too light now. We had to find some weight.

You can see Marcia's Microwave on the tail, and the Moni prop for looks.

The mags are mounted, and plug wires draped over engine.
